Kittens who have been abandoned at a young age have a very slim chance of survival. They need around the clock care, warmth, and somewhere they can be out of the elements. But stray cats can be killed quite easily, and that leaves their kittens without someone to take care of them.
That’s what happened to this ten-day old kitten that was found and brought to the Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter in Arlington, Washington. Its eyes were still closed, and they weren’t even sure if it was going to make it through the first night.
The kitten was infested with so many fleas that she was almost anaemic. The kitten was eventually treated and taken in by a foster mom who kept it warm inside her shirt.
Day by day, the kitten named Bobby started to gain strength and thrive, and soon her eyes were open. She could finally see who had been taking care of her all this time.
